SUMMIT APPLICATION OPEN THROUGH NOVEMBER 16!

October 16, 2025

Applications are now open for the first-ever Global Health Advocacy Summit, which will be a joint event with ~100 Shot@Life and United to Beat Malaria Champions on February 9th – 11th, 2026, in Washington D.C.!

Advocates will hear from global health experts and further develop their advocacy skills. They will then attend congressional meetings on Capitol Hill (2/10), encouraging their lawmakers to fully fund global health programs including malaria and childhood immunization programs.

Together, we can continue to secure bipartisan support for global health programs. We look forward to continuing this vital work and advocating together in the year ahead.

Ready to join us? Review the details below and click here to apply.

Confirming your participation in the summit will take a 2-step approach.

  • FIRST STEP: Submit your application to participate in summit before November 16th at 11:59 PM ET. Be sure to complete all relevant fields as this will help us best prepare to host you in Washington D.C. Included in the application is the opportunity to request a travel scholarship as our team is dedicated to making advocacy accessible.
  • SECOND STEP: Our team will review applications and distribute invitations to confirm participation starting on December 1st. To confirm participation, invited champions will complete the registration process which will include a $150 registration fee to help offset the costs of hotel accommodations and meals.

Tentative Schedule

  • Sunday, February 8 (anytime): Arrive in Washington, D.C.
  • Monday, February 9 (~9am – 5pm ET): Hear from inspiring speakers and connect with fellow advocates to prepare for congressional meetings.
  • Tuesday, February 10 (~8am – 5pm ET): Hold congressional meetings on Capitol Hill.
  • Wednesday, February 11 (~9am – 12pm ET): Debrief after Hill Day, hear from more speakers, and prepare to Advocate to Vaccinate in April before heading home that afternoon.

Cost and Logistics Information

  • Hotel Accommodations: Two bed, double-occupancy hotel rooms will be provided at Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill for the nights of Sunday, February 8, Monday, February 9, and Tuesday, February 10 with a check-out date of Wednesday, February 11.
  • Everyone will have a roommate, who is also a Summit attendee; the registration form will have an option to request a specific roommate if you’d like, but we will pair you up with someone if not. Due to the limited spots this year, attendees requiring/wanting a single room will be asked to book their own rooms at Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill as we will not be able to accommodate this.
  • Meals: The campaigns will provide breakfast and lunch on Monday and Tuesday as well as breakfast on Wednesday.

What costs will you be required to cover as a participant, if you’re selected to attend and choose to register?

  • A $150 fee upon registration, which helps offset the costs of the hotel rooms and meals.
  • All other meals not included above.
  • Travel, including plane, train, or bus fare to/from Washington D.C. as well as ground transportation while in Washington D.C
    • Travel Scholarships: we encourage individuals interested in offsetting travel costs to apply for travel assistance, using the scholarship portion of the below application. You can also reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
  • Any other expenses/incidentals that you incur.
