A Must-Win

They called our game against the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday night a must-win. But sometimes games are about more than just the “W”!

During Wednesday’s game, my teammates and I committed to donate $10 for every point we scored to Nothing But Nets to help prevent malaria. But we didn’t stop there – we challenged our fans to match our commitment, and even gave them incentives to do so with signed t-shirts and gear.

In total, the team and our fans raised enough money to purchase and distribute over 300 nets! The fight against malaria – that is the real must-win.
