Children’s Museum of Houston teaches kids about malaria

June 19, 2017

One of the coolest efforts we’ve seen across the country to educate kids about malaria and to motivate them to help is through the Children’s Museum of Houston. The museum is currently hosting an exhibit called Nothing But Nets: Kids in Houston Reaching Out, funded by ExxonMobil Foundation, that teaches children about Africa, malaria, and how they have the power to help prevent the devastating disease.

The museum opened right before World Malaria Day in April and runs through May 28. We like it because it’s a hands-on way for children to get involved by learning and become empowered to do something to help those in need. Click here for more information on the exhibit!
