Help Nothing But Nets Celebrate International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day on March 8 celebrates the social, political and economic achievements of women around the world. Every hour of every day, UN Foundation campaigns are working to drive progress for girls and women. Nothing But Nets, with the help from our partners, champions, and supporters, continues to work tirelessly to end malaria – a disease that largely impacts pregnant women and children. And we’re making huge progress! The WHO reports that over the last decade, global efforts have reduced child deaths from malaria by more than half. That’s something to celebrate! This International Women’s Day we’re reminded that your efforts ensure that women and children have a chance for a healthy future free from malaria.
