Nothing But Nets is joining our founding partner, the National Basketball Association, for NBA All-Star weekend in Orlando, Florida. We’ll be sharing the court at All-Star Jam Session with our friends from the UN Foundation’s Girl Up campaign, spreading the word about how everyone can do their part to be a Champion for good!
You already know what the Nothing But Nets campaign is — a global, grassroots campaign to save lives by fighting malaria in Africa — but have you heard of Girl Up? It’s a campaign that’s “uniting girls to change the world” raising awareness and funds to help adolescent girls across the globe. Check them out at www.GirlUp.org!
There are lots of ways to join the fight against malaria during NBA All-Star. On Thursday night, join us on the NBA Fit Court to help spread the buzz, where we’ll run drills and quiz you on your malaria knowledge. Throughout the weekend, stop by to sink a net on our court and learn more about how nets save lives. You may be lucky enough to win some “buzzkill” gear too!
