For the past five years, our Move Against Malaria 5k has brought together a vibrant community of runners, families, and global supporters united by a shared purpose: a malaria free world, connection, and impact.  

This is the second year in a row that EBC Financial Group has sponsored the Move Against Malaria 5k. “This partnership reflects our commitment to social responsibility and collective action. Malaria is preventable, and together, through initiatives like this, we can help drive awareness and real progress toward eradication” said EBC Financial Group. 

The Move Against Malaria 5K isn’t just a virtual race—it’s a movement. Every step taken by participants helps raise global awareness and supports United to Beat Malaria’s efforts to combat malaria, a preventable disease that continues to affect millions worldwide. With the involvement of EBC Financial Group, this impact grows even stronger. By supporting the 5k, they are actively investing in: 

• Healthy Start for Refugee Children initiative, our special initiative with Shot@Life that aims to safeguard the health of one million refugee children in East Africa through the provision of malaria services, childhood vaccinations, and nutritional support; and, 

• Community engagement that inspires collective action.
