Ready? Set? Move Against Malaria 5k!

March 13, 2026

United to Beat Malaria invites you to go the extra “kilometer” in the fight to beat malaria and join us for the fifth annual Move Against Malaria 5k. Between April 25-May 10, 2026, join supporters around the world for the fifth annual Move Against Malaria 5K,  sponsored by Vestergaard and EBC Financial Group. The Move Against Malaria 5k is a virtual event to raise awareness and funds to support lifesaving malaria tools and programs. This year, donations will help support our Healthy Start for Refugee Children initiative which aims to provide critical malaria services and tools, childhood vaccinations, and nutrition support to one million refugee children in East Africa.

This is a virtual 5K event, meaning participants can engage from wherever they are, on their own day, time, pace, and style of movement. Participants can engage in the event in a variety of ways: we invite you to host a 5K run in your community, walk to your local health clinic or hospital, or walk 5,000 steps a day from April 25-May 10 to support United to Beat Malaria and our mission to safeguard health.

Here’s how to get started:

  • Register for the 2026 Move Against Malaria 5K, sponsored by Vestergaard and EBC Financial Group. Register before March 29th  and you will be guaranteed a limited edition 2026 Move Against Malaria 5K t-shirt.
  • After registering, customize your peer-to-peer fundraiser page and set a goal on Classy. Classy accepts credit card and digital donation payment options (PayPal, Venmo, ApplePay, and GooglePay). Let your friends and family know that you are joining the global movement to beat malaria.
  • Share your participation on social media (don’t forget to follow United to Beat Malaria on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram).
  • Invite your community to join you in supporting our mission to protect vulnerable children and families from this preventable disease.

We hope you’ll participate in this global event and get your community involved as well.
