Vestergaard Partners with United to Beat Malaria for the 5th Move Against Malaria

April 10, 2026

The fight against malaria requires innovation, commitment, and global collaboration. This year, we are proud to announce that the Move Against Malaria 5K is being supported by Vestergaard, our longtime partner at the forefront of advancing public health solutions worldwide.

Vestergaard and United to Beat Malaria have been partners in the fight against malaria for the past seventeen years. Team members from Vestergaard have participated in the Move Against Malaria 5k for all five years that the Move Against Malaria 5k has been active.

“Progress against malaria is built through steady commitment and sustained support. As long-term supporters of United to Beat Malaria, initiatives like the Move Against Malaria 5K help focus awareness on advancing malaria control efforts.” –  Patrick Sieyes, Director of Strategic Partnerships and External Affairs at Vestergaard.

This partnership highlights the power of combining global grassroots-driven initiatives with industry leadership. Vestergaard’s involvement underscores a shared belief: that together, we can make measurable progress toward a malaria-free future.  By supporting the 5k, they are actively investing in:

  • Healthy Start for Refugee Children initiative, our special initiative with Shot@Life that aims to safeguard the health of one million refugee children in East Africa through the provision of malaria services, childhood vaccinations, and nutritional support; and,
  • Community engagement that inspires collective action.
