Ruth Riley wins Community Assist Award

Congratulations to Ruth Riley from the Nothing But Nets team for being awarded the WNBA Community Assist Award for August! Ruth, a San Antonio Silver Stars player and Nothing But Nets spokesperson, has shown dedication to community outreach initiatives related to youth health and wellness – particularly in her work for Nothing But Nets.

Most recently, Ruth raised money for Nothing But Nets during a Silver Stars 5k run/walk. That event was just one of many ways that Ruth has helped us to raise awareness about malaria and send nets to save lives!

Ruth’s award is $5,000 to the charity of her choice, and she’s donating half of it to Nothing But Nets, and half to The TRIAD Trust.
