November 21, 2024

Summit season has officially arrived! We are absolutely thrilled to be able to gather in Washington, D.C. on March 16th – March 18th !

Together, we have an opportunity to eradicate malaria, one of the deadliest diseases in human history. Eradicating this ancient disease will require sustained commitment, collaboration, and innovation from governments, private sector, the global health community, and individuals – like you!

The 2025 Leadership Summit will be our first opportunity to engage a new Congress in support of vital malaria programs. Over the years, our persistent bi-partisan advocacy has helped strengthen U.S. funding for vital malaria programs, including The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, & Malaria and the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative. These programs protect millions of people each year from malaria and help protect Americans from diseases with pandemic potential.

With multiple partners working together to beat malaria, we have the opportunity to cultivate bi-partisan collaboration in support of global health programs. As advocates, it’s our role to stay engaged throughout the year: meeting with Congress, calling congress, signing petitions, and more.

We know ending malaria is going to take all of us and we look forward to advocating together in the year ahead!

Due to capacity restrictions, confirming your summit participation will take a 2-step approach.   Please review the application process below for more information.

  • FIRST STEP: Submit your application to participate in summit before January 5th at 11:59 PM ET. Be sure to complete all relevant fields as this will help us best prepare to host you in Washington D.C. Included in the application is the opportunity to request a travel scholarship as our team is dedicated to making advocacy accessible. Click here to get started.
  • SECOND STEP: Our team will review applications and distribute invitations to confirm participation starting on January 16th. To confirm participation, invited champions will complete the registration process which will include a modest $50 registration fee to help offset the costs of hotel accommodations and meals.

Additional details:

  • TRAVEL: Attendees will be responsible for booking their own travel. Requests for financial support to cover expenses to-and-from Washington D.C. including any flights, trains, or ground transportation can be made in the application.  Financial support excludes taxis and rideshare.  Please DO NOT book travel until your participation has been confirmed.
  • HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: Two-bed, double-occupancy hotel rooms will be provided for the nights of Sunday, March 16, and Monday, March 17 – with a check-out date on Tuesday, March 18. Attendees wishing to have private accommodations will be responsible for this expense.

We are continually inspired by your dedication!  Thank you for partnering with us to be the generation to Beat Malaria.
