Thanks for helping us to spread the buzz this summer!

We kicked off August with a social networking contest. We asked you to spread the word about malaria to your NET-works and because of you, we reached our goal! We now have more than 500 followers on Twitter, and 5,000 fans on Facebook because it’s that easy to spread the word that sending nets saves lives. 

Sending nets and saving lives takes an entire community – and judging by the number of people that have joined our NET-works online, I know that we can cover a continent with life-saving bed nets.

Within a week, we reached our goal on Twitter, and we’re still climbing at 573 followers and counting. And on August 31st, we had 5,000 Facebook fans on our NET-work. We want to thank each and every one of you who helped to spread the word – whether it was by suggesting our fan page to your friends, retweeting our updates on Twitter, or even going the extra step, and sending a net and saving a life.

As we promised, we picked one lucky fan from Facebook and a follower from Twitter to receive a Nothing But Nets prize pack. Congratulations to Facebook fan Ashley S and Twitter follower Rima T. for winning our summer social networking contest – thank you for helping to spread the buzz!
