The NBA Nets Success On and Off the Court

The NBA’s 2010-2011 season starts tonight! As we’re getting ready to watch our favorite teams, the Nothing But Nets team put together this photo slideshow of our August trip to Senegal with one of our founding partners, NBA Cares.

Thank you for sending nets and saving lives — and making this summer’s distribution of 20,000 life-saving bed nets in Rufisique, Senegal possible! More than 20 players, athletes, and their families helped us hand out and hang nets including NBA Legend Dikembe Mutombo, Nothing But Nets Champion and Senegalese native DeSagana Diop of the Charlotte Bobcats, Danillo Gallinari and Ronny Turiaf of the New York Knicks, and Hasheem Thabeet of the Memphis Grizzlies.
