On May 29th, the President of the United States announced he would withdraw the U.S. membership to the World Health Organization (WHO). Those who have made it our mission to fight deadly diseases understand that doing this in the middle of the worst global pandemic since 1918 is a shortsighted and dangerous move. We also know this decision could have far-reaching implications for other deadly diseases – including malaria.
