During the summer of 2011, middle school student Kevin Strickland from Springfield, Virginia was inspired by a Nothing But Nets ad he saw on Hulu. Later that year, Kevin was assigned a service learning project for his civics class.

On September 28-29, Nothing But Nets hosted its Champion Summit in Washington, DC, the largest supporter conference in the campaign’s history! The Summit convened 160 grassroots supporters from 30 states, along with several of our partners, for two days of inspiring speakers, valuable trainings, and meaningful actions in the fight against malaria.

This week, we launched our Gift a Net campaign! It may seem early but the holiday season is right around the corner. Now through #GivingTuesday (December 2), we hope to raise 5,000 life-saving bednets to protect families in sub-Saharan Africa from malaria.
